What’s been happening:

Since graduating in 1974, I spent several years as a residential designer and builder with Earthworks, Inc. in Virginia Beach, Va. I also continued to play keyboards and sing with several rock groups until moving to California a few years later. I've lived in the San Francisco Bay area ever since then, including 20 years as an architectural design consultant and teacher at the Building Education Center in Berkeley. With the class I currently teach, called `the architectural sketch class' I like keeping a connection to hand drawing and the pencil. In the 80's, I married Wiebke from Hamburg, Germany and spent the next several years illustrating books and doing architectural consulting. Since getting my architectural license in CA, I've been working as an architect with Jarvis Architects in Oakland. Outside of work, I exhibit my landscape paintings at local galleries. I'm also enjoying a resurgence of interest the accordion, particularly French musette music, playing for a couple of friends weddings. Within the last few years I've become quite interested in green building and have become LEED and Build It Green certified. No children, one rabbit. Currently we have our home in El Cerrito just north of Berkeley.
